Leaked Files – Proof & Validation of Israel’s Perversion of US Democratic Processes & Values.

For decades, Israel has been accused of using its significant influence in the United States to manipulate politicians and bend the law to its advantage. Despite being a small country, Israel has a profound impact on American politics, thanks to its powerful lobbies and well-connected politicians.

However, on August 17, 2024, proof and validation of Israel long history of manipulating US politics and Politicians surfaced in a Guardian published exclusive report titled: “Israel feared legal trouble over US advocacy efforts, leaked files suggest.”

The leaked files and report provided shocking proof and validation of the extend of Israel’s ability to buy and manipulate US politicians and continue to get away with it.

Tough question that must be asked of American citizens is:

What backlash, type and size, (if any) will this have on American voters against AIPAC supported candidates in the upcoming US congressional, senate and presidential elections?

Excerpts of the Guardian report:

Excerpt 1:

‘The Israeli government sought legal advice on a US federal law requiring the disclosure of foreign-backed lobbying campaigns, out of concern that mounting enforcement of the law could ensnare American groups working in coordination with the Israeli government, leaked documents reviewed by the Guardian suggest.

Emails and legal memos originating from a hack of the Israeli justice ministry show that officials feared that the country’s advocacy efforts in the US could trigger the US law governing foreign agents. The documents show that officials proposed creating a new American nonprofit in order to continue Israel’s activities in the US while avoiding scrutiny under the law.”

Excerpt 2:

“A legal strategy memo dated July 2018 noted that compliance with the Foreign Agents Registration Act (Fara) would damage the reputation of several American groups that receive funding and direction from Israel, and force them to meet onerous transparency requirements. A separate memo noted that donors would not want to fund groups registered under Fara.

Fara requires people working on behalf of a foreign government to register as foreign agents with the US justice department.

In listing reasons for avoiding Fara, the memo says that the law compels registrants to “flag any piece of ‘propaganda’ that is distributed to two or more parties in the US, with a disclaimer stating that it was delivered by a foreign agent and then submit a copy of the ‘propaganda’ to the US Department of Justice within 48 hours”.

To prevent Fara registration, and the stigma and scrutiny associated with it, the legal advisers suggested channeling funds through a third-party American nonprofit.

Liat Glazer, then a legal adviser to Israel’s ministry of strategic affairs, writes that even though the nonprofit would not be formally managed from Israel, “we will have means of supervision and management” – for example, through grant-making and “informal coordination mechanisms” including “oral meetings and updates”. “

Why Don’t Americans Get Accountability & Transparency from their Elected Politicians?

The Israeli Lobby: A Force to be Reckoned With

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is one of the most powerful lobbies in Washington, with a budget of over $5 million and a network of influential politicians and donors. AIPAC’s influence extends far beyond its official mission of promoting US-Israel relations, as it has been accused of using its clout to shape US foreign policy and undermine the rights of Americans.

Influence Peddling and Bribery

Israel’s influence peddling has been exposed time and time again, with numerous politicians and government officials caught taking bribes or engaging in other unethical practices. In 2013, it was revealed that AIPAC had provided millions of dollars in campaign donations to key lawmakers, including then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), who was accused of using his position to push through a $38 billion military aid package for Israel.

Bending the Law to Suit Israel’s Interests

Israel’s influence extends beyond the political sphere, with the country’s government and corporations consistently flouting US laws and regulations. In 2015, it was revealed that Israel’s government had been using US tax dollars to fund illegal settlements in the West Bank, which are considered illegal under international law.

US Politicians in Israel’s Pocket

Israel’s influence extends to the highest levels of the US government, with key politicians and officials often prioritizing the country’s interests over those of the American people. In 2018, it was revealed that President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, had met with Israeli officials to discuss the administration’s Middle East policy, despite his lack of experience in the region.

Daunting Conclusion

Israel’s influence in the United States is and should be a matter of grave concern to Americans, with the country’s lobbies and politicians consistently prioritizing Israel’s interests over those of the American people. As long as this situation continues, it will be difficult for the US to effectively address the complex issues of the Middle East and promote its own interests.

Is There Hope for Real Change, or is it Hopeless?

So what backlash, type and size, (if any) will this have on American voters against AIPAC supported candidates in the upcoming US Congressional, Senate and Presidential elections remains to be seen. But with the new awareness by American youth as witnessed a few months ago on US college campuses calling out what Israel is committing in Gaza as “Genocide. with US complicity”, the odds are that things are not going to remain the same.

How dramatic is this change capable of becoming? Well, let’s see if the college protests continue in September or October when students return to campuses. This may speed things up towards the US 2024 elections and those on in 2026, 2028 and beyond.
